Elm Fork was originally designed in 1964 as a Winchester range. Elm Fork is 471 acres, located right in the heart of the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex. The range is located just seven miles from DFW Airport and about six miles from Dallas Love Field. Elm Fork is one of the largest shooting facilities in the US! Elm Fork has three sporting clay courses. The tournament will take place on two of them (Woods,Meadows).
The championship Woods course is a twelve station course located in some of the most pristine woods you can imagine in Dallas. “Sometimes when you shoot the Woods course you forget that you are only seven miles from the DFW airport”!
The Meadows Course is much more open, less trees. A more open course allows the shooter to receive a larger variety of targets. Normally longer distances, but more often easier to see.
